Teserae

Posted by AndyH Categories: Games, Puzzle Tags: 2D, Amiga, Gameboy, Windows

This is an old Commodore Amiga game I created back in 1992.

It was inspired (ie: a remake) of a Tetris game of the same name on the Atari ST.

Teserae

Tetris on the Amiga.

It was nothing more than Tetris with whizzy scrolling backgrounds and some Chip music.

I created the Amiga Teserae as a learning experience when I was moving from 68000 on the Atari to the Amiga.

Recently I got my Amiga set up and recompiled (actually re-assembled ;) ) with the Ovine badge on it.  I was surprised how much I could remember from over 17 years ago as there was a little RAW image converter required to extract the new images.

You’ll need an Amiga, or an Amiga Emulator to play Teserae.  Copy the file on to a disk and launch the usual way.  Sorry I’ve not had a chance to create a disk image of it yet.
