Coding Finished ¤ Monday 31st March 2008 ¤ Stu C
Thats the coding finished on Dan Dare. Now onto playtesting.Sure theres a bit more coding left todo to fix bugs and tweak gameplay. - Ive made allowances for a MAC port, so hopefully we'll do a dual release.
Saying that I only have an IntelMac so no universal binary I'm afraid. I tried loading linux onto an old hard drive- but that completely did my head in - ugggh too much setting up - so no linux ports in the near future im afraid. Why isnt setting up an Nvidia card easy ? - Also im sitting clicking on a program to run and its just sitting there..................
I suppose I've alienated all 5 of you linux users now ? hehehehehe

The GLBasic / GP2X console competition deadline was tonight (at midnight) and I'm happy to say I was able to finish a version to submit in time ... YAY! I've still got more work to do on the game, to add in the things I did not get time to do and also more levels, but the version I submitted tonight is fun to play and has a level editor so you can essentially design your own Mouth Trap game. Screenshots to follow tomorrow... night night and wish ovine luck!
