SLAYRadio Player/Song Requester
===============================

SLAYRadio is the #1 C64 remix radio station. After many months of listening
I thought it would be a good idea to accompany it with a "themed" radio player.

Hence Version 1 was developed using the www.un4seen.com BASS library.

Recently the SLAY web site was vastly improved and incorporated a user request
feature. From the web site www.slayradio.org you can search for your fav songs
and add them to the playlist queue. At the time of writing there is no way
from the web site to save your favourite requests - hence version 2.

The player will let you add the "currently played song" to your request list,
and was decided that the web site must still be used to add songs from the SLAYRadio
database.

* Connecting using the HIGH, MED and LOW streams
* Save the stream to Individual MP3 files.
* Add the currently played song to your personal request list
* Request list can be sorted
* Access to the shout box

You can now select which server to connect to. If you connect to relay.slayradio.org it will assign you next next available server. Alternativly if you experience bad connections. I suggest you manually assign server 1,2 or 3.

To connect to SLAYRadio
=======================

Select FILE - Connect then select the desired connection speed. When the app is restarted it will re-connect at this speed.

LOGIN to SLAYRadio WebSite
==========================
If you are not going to post to the shout box or submit a song to the SLAY website
YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOGIN.

Select SLAYRadio WebSite - LOGON.

If you do not have an account with SLAY - follow the web links after pressing LOGON.

Add to the Request List
=======================

When a song is being played on SLAYRadio simply select FILE - ADD CURRENT SONG...

N.B. If you have the player minimised you can right click the system tray icon

Submit Request to SLAYRadio (you need to be logged in)

Firstly you must LOGIN to the SLAYRadio website.

Select "REQUEST LIST" from the main screen.
Here you will see a list of your currently saved songs. Right click onto the
required song and select "add to SLAYRadio Q".

Also on this screen you may sort the request list into either TRACK order or ARTIST order.

ShoutBox
========

Once logged in - the shoutbox has been incoporated into the player.

Use as if you were on the web site. Autorefresh is once every 60 seconds.

Note:- The shoubox text reads from top - bottom Oldest - Most Recent (opposite to the
web site for easier reading)

Saving the RADIO stream.
========================
The player does allow the stream to be saved to a selected folder. Each song will be saved
to its individual MP3 file.

FILE - SET TO SAVE FOLDER.

Once this has been set - to save the stream select

FILE - SAVE TO FILE

To stop the saving - simply unselect
